Survey collects input on preserving Wolfeboro’s architectural heritage

WOLFEBORO ― Wolfeboro residents and visitors alike are being asked to weigh in with their thoughts on preserving the town’s architectural heritage.

The Wolfeboro Heritage Commission has developed a survey that will take only a few minutes to complete. It’s available online by visiting the Wolfeboro Heritage Commission’s page on the Town of Wolfeboro’s website, and paper copies are available in the town manager’s office. The deadline for completing the survey is Oct. 2.

The survey’s questions ask respondents to evaluate the importance of Wolfeboro’s architectural structures, neighborhoods, streets and other sites, and to indicate which historic homes, buildings, neighborhoods, and/or places deserve protection.

People are also asked to identify what benefits they believe historic buildings and places bring to the community and to indicate how supportive they would be of additional protections to preserve Wolfeboro’s historic character.

Results of the survey will be shared with the community.
