LACONIA — Troop 68 scouts will hold their second annual Camping for Food event at Opechee Park, starting at noon, on Saturday, Nov. 7. During the 24-hour event, scouts will camp on the beach, practice scouting skills, and collect donations of packaged, nonperishable food and sundry items. Local food pantries will distribute all donations to area residents in need. Stop by to donate and learn more about the opportunities scouting offers Laconia’s youth.
