GILFORD — Laconia Scout Troop 68 and Gilford Scout Troop 243 are joining up to sponsor family-friendly event celebrating classic cars, community pride, and youth leadership on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Held at Gilford High School, this showcase will feature a lineup of classic cars from across the region. Car enthusiasts and curious spectators alike are invited to enjoy a day of chrome, craftsmanship, and camaraderie — all while supporting a great cause.
Proceeds from the event will directly benefit scouting programs, helping fund outdoor adventures, leadership training, and community service projects for both Troop 68 and 243.
“This car show is more than just a display of classic vehicles,” said Glenn Smith, of Troop 68. “It’s a chance for scouts to engage with the community, learn valuable organizational skills, and raise funds for the experiences that shape their growth.”
