Winters in New Hampshire are long and cold, and can be isolating for people who don't ski or like being out in the low temperatures. If you can't travel south, how about a musical trip to New York City and Broadway? Singing in the non-audition community chorus the Pemigewasset Choral Society (Pemi Choral) brings joy and warmth regardless of the weather.
Rehearsals are beginning on Monday, Jan. 23, in Plymouth for the Broadway-themed concert series performed in May. Easier than a trip to the Big Apple, join this 90-voice chorus for classic and contemporary Broadway showstoppers from shows such as "Hamilton," "Rent," "Man of La Mancha," "Waitress," "Dear Evan Hanson," "Pippin," "South Pacific," "Wicked" and more. The first three rehearsals are open for anyone wishing to consider joining, with no obligation, so you can give it a try and see if it's a good fit. Being part of a musical community during the winter is a great way to feel connected and to forget about the cold. Visit pemichoral.org for more information.
