MEREDITH ― Jennifer Worden and Andrea Cram, Realtors with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Verani Realty, will co-host a free seminar titled Real Estate Horror Stories at the Meredith Public Library at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 19.

They will explore both literal and figurative horror stories in the real estate profession. Are sellers and real estate agents legally obligated to tell potential buyers that a house is haunted like in "Poltergeist" or "The Amityville Horror?" How do people avoid a fixer-upper that turns into the house from the Tom Hanks' movie "The Money Pit?" Are there houses like these in the Lakes Region?

Worden and Cram will have the answers at this fun and informative session. After the presentation, there will be time for an audience Q&A on topics from the evening or on other real estate questions.
