PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth State University Ice Arena hosted a figure skating exhibition on Aug. 16.Â
Skaters practiced their skills and routines daily at the PSU ice arena and were excited to perform for family and friends as the summer season comes to a close. All skaters are members of Learn to Skate USA or US Figure Skating and are participants of the Plymouth State Skating Academy or the Magic Blades Figure Skating Club in Tilton. The exhibition featured skaters 4 and up.
Participants from the Lakes Region included: Emma Stockbridge from Franklin; Patience Fleming, Emma O’Neill, and Naira Minassian from Laconia; Susan Lang from New Hampton; and Erika Lamson and Atisha Uasawangporn from Plymouth.Â
Fall learn to skate programs at the Plymouth State Skating Academy in Plymouth and the Magic Blades Figure Skating Club in Tilton start soon. At the Plymouth State University Ice Arena, skaters can register for Learn to Skate classes or Learn to Play Hockey which are offered on Saturday mornings. Magic Blades FSC offers lessons on Monday evenings beginning in October at the Tilton School Ice Arena.
