Over the past three years, Pack 369 in Moultonborogh has been shaking up the traditional Scouting for Food event.

Members partnered with EM Heaths Supermarket in Center Harbor to gather non-perishable food items for the Lakes Region Food Pantry. Each day, a different family from the Pack picks up donations and drops them off at the cubmaster’s barn, ready for the big day.

This year, the troop also teamed up with the Moultonborough Police Department for a Stuff-A-Cruiser event. The event was staffed by Chief Peter W. Beede, Sargent Elijah Belsar, and Pack 369 leadership along with their cubs.

The event more than doubled donations for the year and raised $350 in monetary contributions — all directed straight to the Lakes Region Food Pantry with Scouting  for Food in the memo line.

Together, the troop collected over 3,000 pounds of food and presented two checks totaling $350.
