PLYMOUTH — The New Hampshire Department of Transportation will begin culvert repair work on Fairgrounds Road, from Monday, Sept. 25, at 8 a.m. through Friday, Sept. 29, at 4 p.m.

The project is located approximately nine tenths of a mile east of Loon Lake Road.

Due to geometric constraints at the work site, Fairgrounds Road will need to be closed to all traffic at this location.

Signage will detour all traffic to NH 25 and US 3 respectively.

Work will include replacing a compromised 70-inch by 54 inch culvert with a temporary culvert via an emergency authorization from New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services. Future permitting will result in a permanent structure and another road closure.

Motorists are encouraged to sign up for free, real-time construction and traffic related messages (text or email) from newengland511.org.
