WOLFEBORO — The New Hampshire Boat Museum will host a member reception on Friday, July 1,  for local artist Robin Cornwell, whose work will be featured in the museum’s gallery in July. A resident of Wolfeboro, Cornwell produces art quilts as well as bark paper paintings and woven placemats and rugs.

According to NHBM Executive Director Martha Cummings, the museum has worked closely with local artists for a number of years. “We have a lovely spot in the museum that lends itself to showing art as we celebrate all of our boating heritage, including art inspiration,” she said. “While our reception is only open for members, Cornwell’s work may be viewed with paid admission during regular hours.”

Located at 399 Center St., NHBM is open Tuesday – Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
