MOULTONBOROUGH — Moultonborough Public Library will host an exhibition open house featuring the photography of Mike Weinhold on Thursday, Aug. 7, at 6 p.m.
Weinhold, a New England-based legal aid attorney, has pursued a passion in photography for over a decade. His hobby began with a humble Canon Powershot point-and-shoot camera. Combined with a love for travel, this allowed Weinhold to discover a talent and appreciation for nature photography.Â
Since then, he has expanded to use a variety of tools and strategies (intentional or otherwise) to capture a wide-range of subjects. From intricate close-ups to sweeping landscapes, Weinhold’s photography portrays all aspects of the beauty of nature.Â
The open house at the library will display Weinhold’s work, providing time both to observe the art and for the artist to speak on his process. Light refreshments will be served by the Friends of the Moultonborough Library.Â
