MEREDITH — The Meredith-based Lakes Region Symphony Orchestra,  celebrating their 46th year,  introduces its concert lineup with concerts November 2021 through May 2022.  The full schedule, venue information, and tickets are available now at www.LRSO.org.

New this season — reserved seating and online ticketing.  Order your tickets online, select your seats, and be assured of getting a great seat with no rushing to the theatres.  The only exception is the November performance at PSU due to technical limitations, but seating is plentiful in this large theatre

The season opener on Nov. 6 features the winner of the LRSO’s 2021 Student Concerto Competition, violinist Sava Thurber performing Sarasate’s Carmen Suite.  Listen to excerpts of this piece from Sava’s audition at the top of their home page at www.LRSO.org.  

The Dec. 10 performance is at the Colonial Theatre in Laconia, and the Dec. 11 and 12 performances are at Inter-Lakes Auditorium in Meredith.   Back by popular demand is vocalist Michael Gallagan as their featured guest. 

On March 19 there will be a virtuosic classical guitar performance of the Tedesco Guitar Concerto in D Major by renowned guitarist David Newsam.  David teaches at Berkeley College of Music and UNH, and actively tours throughout New England.  

LRSO ends its season with two concerts on May 14 at Inter-Lakes auditorium in Meredith and May 15 at the Colonial Theatre in Laconia.  These performances feature an array of hits from “Broadway Then and Now.”  Featured in these amazing concerts will be actress, dancer, and singer Ashley Meeken.  

Tickets are available now at www.LRSO.org.  Tickets for the November performance at Plymouth State University will be available Oct. 1.  You can order by phone with numbers listed with each event.  

Covid-related restrictions at each venue will be monitored.  There are no restrictions at this time, but be advised masking may be adopted or other measures will be taken as the season progresses.
