BELMONT — Friends of the Belmont Public Library have received two Upper Level Mainway tickets for the Nascar Race on July 17 at the NH Motor Speedway in Loudon. They are raffling the tickets to raise funds for Belmont library’s expansion.

Raffle tickets will be sold online for $20 an entry via GiveButter.com/NASCAR which accepts all major credit cards, Paypal and Venmo.

The public can also purchase raffle tickets at the Belmont Public Library’s children's desk. Participants do not need to be Belmont residents to enter or to win. The drawing will be held on June 23.

“Historically Friends’ raffle participation is light, so chances of any one participant winning this pair of tickets is pretty good,” says Friend member Jessica Ellis-Hopkins, “Tell your friends and have fun!”

“First prize is the pair of race tickets,” explains Sandy Valtz, Chair of the Friends’ board, “but there are a few other prizes as well. Second prize is a framed portrait of Jeff Gordon and third prize is a framed portrait of Tony Stewart. Each is worth fifty dollars. You can see pictures of them on the facebook page, facebook.com/belmontplfriends.”

Belmont Public Library is located at 146 Main Street in Belmont. It is open Monday and Friday 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday 10 a.m.-6 p.m., and Saturday 9 a.m.-1 p.m.
