LACONIA — Acorn Brown’s Turtle Town Daycare is hosting a lemonade stand on Friday, Oct. 1 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. A yard sale fundraiser will also be hosted on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Both fundraisers will be held at 21 Dartmouth Street. The daycare is seeking donations to benefit Granite State Dog Recovery.
The daycare's kids have been working hard to raise money selling bracelets and collecting donations for Granite State Dog Recovery. This is an amazing nonprofit organization that brings lost dogs home to their families. The daycare teaches their kids to be kind to others and are passionate about the work that Granite State Dog Recovery does.
Here is a list of items they need: dog treats, Vienna sausages, liquid smoke, garbage bags, sponges, dog toys, canned dog food, paper towels, toilet paper, gallon Ziplock bags, dish soap, gift cards to fast food restaurants, gift cards to grocery stores, gift cards to tractor supply, liquid laundry detergent, standard white printer paper, Clorox disinfectant wipes, martingale collars XS/S/M, leashes, and slip leads.
Stop by the lemonade stand for a refreshing cup of lemonade and help the kids fill the donation boxes for Granite State Dog Recovery. If you have anything you would like to donate to the yard sale, drop your items off at 21 Dartmouth Street.Â
