GILMANTON — The Gilmanton Year-Round Library Association received a donation of $10,260 from the Lakes Region Casino in Belmont’s charitable gaming event. Funds will support the library’s activities.

New Hampshire gaming facilities are legally required to donate a significant portion of their revenue to eligible charitable organizations.

The GYRLA and Gilmanton Historical Society were the designated charitable organizations named as recipients for June 30 through July 9 of at least 35% of gross revenue from games of chance, after deducting prizes, went to both organizations. This equated to $10,260 for each.
