CONCORD ― Every lake community has someone behind the scenes making a difference — going above and beyond for the lake they love. It might be the volunteer who conducts water quality testing, or the advocate speaking up for lakes at the Statehouse. It could be the person who shares ways others can take action, and the steward who takes simple, lake-friendly steps in their everyday life.
The John F. Morten Award for Exemplary Lake Stewardship honors the legacy of a visionary leader whose lifelong dedication helped shape lake protection efforts across the state. This award recognizes individuals who carry forward that same spirit of commitment, leadership, and care for our waters. Help NH Lakes recognize and celebrate those who make a lasting impact on New Hampshire’s lakes.
