MOULTONBOROUGH — Celebrate the timeless music of two pop legends at the Moultonborough Public Library as pianist and vocalist Jay Daniels presents his performance, Piano Men: A Tribute to Billy Joel & Elton John, on Thursday, Sept. 17, at 6 p.m.
Featuring rich vocals and jazz-infused piano arrangements, Daniels brings fresh energy to iconic classics like "Piano Man," "Your Song," "Rocket Man," and many more. Daniels’ programs offer an intimate, narrative-driven experience structured like a live radio broadcast and living history lesson. Audiences are invited to sing along, share memories, and re-engage with decades of beloved hits.
A native of Virginia now residing in New Jersey, Daniels brings nearly 30 years of regional performance experience to the stage. He received his musical training at Shenandoah University under former Metropolitan Opera tenor Michael Forest and maintains an active full-time touring schedule of nearly 30 monthly concerts at venues across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast.
"Music is about connection and nostalgia," said Daniels. "This show is designed so that audiences don't just listen — they leave humming songs they haven't thought of in decades."
The program is possible thanks to the generous support of the Friends of the Moultonborough Library. Visit the library calendar on our webpage, moultonboroughlibrary.org, to register, or call the library at 603-476-8895.
