The Interlakes Summer Theatre will finish the season Aug. 14-18 with “Million Dollar Quartet.”
“Million Dollar Quartet” is a Tony Award-nominated musical about a legendary jam session between Elvis Presley, Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins at Sun Records in Memphis, Tennessee on Dec. 4, 1956.
The show is a funny and poignant story of broken promises, secrets, betrayal, and celebration, and features a score of rock ‘n’ roll, gospel, R&B, and country hits, including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Fever,” “Walk the Line,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Who Do You Love?,” “Great Balls of Fire,” and “Folsom Prison Blues.”
The production will be directed by Brian Feehan, with musical direction by Cason Day, set designer is Katherine Wexler, costume designer Ginny Fisher, lighting designer is Connor White, sound designer is Jared Lipkin, technical director is Michael Byne, prop design by Troy Tedeschi, stage manager is Raeya Garcia, production manager is Kristen Wettstein, costume shop manager is Ginny Fisher, and assistant stage manager is Lily Landoche.
