GIlFORD  Building community comes at the cost of convenience. It is hard work and involves putting boots to pavement and getting things done. Get the chance to see the history unfold of just such an endeavor.

Join the Gilford Public Library on Thursday, Sept. 24 at 5:30 p.m. for the “History of the Gilford Outing Club.” Presenter David Stamps will take attendees through the history of the club via historic images and oral histories from key members over the years. Their contributions range from hikes, dance and theater, fall cleanups and more, and this program will offer just a taste of all they do.
