LACONIA — The Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction needs the community's help to collect items for this year’s 40th annual auction. The auction is collecting new, unused items in partnership with MI-BOX Moving and Mobile Storage and Meredith Village Savings Bank at two upcoming collection days in Gilford. On Friday, Oct. 8, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., and Saturday, Oct. 9, 9 a.m.-1 p.m., drop off new, unused and unwrapped items for the auction. Contributors will fill out a short form and leave the items with a volunteer.

All MVSB locations are also accepting items now through Oct. 8, and contributors can leave their item and form with an MVSB employee.

Items accepted include gift cards, electronics, tools, toys, sporting goods, and household items.

With questions, visit childrensauction.com or call 603-527-0999. The 2021 Children’s Auction is Dec. 7-10.
