MEREDITH — Delaney Sleeper was chosen as the September Laker of the Month.
Sleeper works at Golden View Healthcare Center and is always cheery and kind to the residents. She brings a positive disposition to the aging population.
An exemplary student and classmate to her junior class at Inter-Lakes High School, Sleeper is class president and volunteers for every activity that she can and takes a leadership role at events when possible.
Her warmth, selflessness and humor make her a joy to be around. Sleeper loves her school and represents her school graciously. Not only has she been working since a young age, she has earned licensed nursing assistant certification as a junior in high school through her work with Golden View and Career Partnerships.
Sleeper is also an active member of the volleyball team.Â
