LACONIA — Dead River Company will unveil a new 26-foot refrigerated truck and wrap to celebrate its long-time partnership with the New Hampshire Food Bank as a food distributor on Friday, Aug. 19 at 11 a.m. As part of the event, the Dead River Company and the Food Bank will also be hosting a mobile food pantry.

The event will be held at Lakes Region Community College, 379 Belmont Road.

Lisa Morrissette, director of marketing & communications, Dead River Company; Eileen Liponis, executive director, New Hampshire Food Bank; Dead River company staff; and NH Food Bank staff and supporters.

An estimated 7% of all New Hampshire residents, including approximately 9.5% of children, struggle with food insecurity, meaning they do not know when or where their next meal will come from. The support from Dead River Company enables the New Hampshire Food Bank to hold mobile food pantries in remote locations around the state in response to local need and as a means to distribute nutritious food.
