WOLFEBORO — After two years of no event due to the pandemic, the 4th annual Cowboy Ball was back in full swing on June 23 at the Barn at the Inn on Main Street. “We were thrilled to have a sold-out crowd of 200 this year” said Joanne Walsh, co-chair of the event. It has become the “must attend” event in Wolfeboro. “I am grateful for all of the community support we have received this year and to our incredible staff, BOD, and volunteers,” said Jennifer Fraser, executive director of GSA and co-chair of the event.
The event had 25 sponsors and over 75 silent auction items for the lively crowd to bid on. A huge thanks the team at O’Bistro led by Andy and Jenn who helped execute a flawless event.
Attendees were treated to a full BBQ dinner. In addition, there was a selfie photo booth. The event raised more money this year than any other event to help this small non-profit whose mission is to provide individuals who have a disability the opportunity to develop independence, confidence, life skills and fitness through participation in sports therapy, training, and recreation programs in equine, cycling and skiing.
