CENTER HARBOR — The Center Harbor Town Band is wrapping up its 2025 concert season on Friday, Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. The free concerts have drawn visitors from the area and beyond to the Center Harbor Bandstand every week since July 4.
The finale will welcome back guest soprano Catherine Martinez in the maestro’s theme choice, “From Hollywood to Broadway,” featuring popular tunes from musicals and movies. Martinez hails from Concord and is delighted to be singing once again with the Center Harbor Town Band. The daughter of conductor Carlos Martinez, she has been performing on stage since she was a “wee little lass.”
In December, Martinez will perform in the Powerhouse Theater Collaborative production of “A Christmas Carol” and she’s presently the manager for radio station WKXL Radio in Concord.
