LACONIA — The Belknap County Republican Committee has released a “Belknap County Pledge,” saying its local Republican candidates are prepared to represent Lakes Region residents on county facilities, education, energy costs, taxes, and constitutional rights in Concord and at home.

The committee said the pledge is a shared commitment from Republican candidates running for the New Hampshire House from Belknap County in the Nov. 3 general election. The committee is featuring 14 candidates: Jade Wood, Glen Aldrich, Colleen Harkey, Priscilla M. Bean, Paul Rossi, Cody Pfaff, Mike Bordes, Timothy Minor, Tom Ploszaj, Kevin M. Nugent Jr., Lisa Freeman, Matt Coker, Scott Wallace and Cameron C. Thompson.

Candidates will be at several meet and greet sessions to meet with voters to discuss their positions. Members of the public are invited to the Gilford Public Library on Tuesday, Oct. 13 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. and then at the DOX at Winnisquam on Thursday, Oct. 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
