MOULTONBOROUGH  The Moultonborough Library will host author and genealogist Milli Knudsen for a presentation on New Hampshire’s criminal history at the turn of the 20th century. The event is on Tuesday, April 14, at 6 p.m.

Knudsen’s book, “Murder and Mayhem: True Crime in New Hampshire 1883-1915,” uses state archives and prison registries to reconstruct forgotten cases from our region’s past. Her talk will cover a range of stories, including a 50-year-old cold case resolution and the intricacies of early interstate manhunts.

With a background as a professional genealogist and her current role as a data analyst for the NH Cold Case and Major Crimes Units, Knudsen offers a bridge between historical research and modern forensic investigation with a presentation that will interest history enthusiasts and true crime buffs.
