MEREDITH — Meredith Historical Society is preparing for its annual event on Saturday, May 21 from 8 a.m. – 2 p.m. Annalee Dolls has again generously offered the use of its parking lot on Rte. 3 for this important fundraiser. Gently used items — no clothing or electronics, tires or mattresses — can be dropped off Friday, May 20 at Annalee’s from 4 - 6 p.m., or on the morning of the yard sale.

Several large items have already been donated. Are you looking for a set of golf clubs, or a canoe to take you fishing on the lakes? How about a Sunfish sailboat? Need another outdoor table and bench? A hallway runner? The prices can’t be beat and you’ll help Meredith Historical Society maintain its two historic properties and the significant objects stored within.

As you clean out your attic or garage remember that your unwanted trash might be someone else’s treasure. Remember also that donations to the yard sale are helping to preserve local history.
