The New England Ski Museum, a nonprofit organization with locations in Franconia and North Conway, is seeking a full-time executive director to provide dynamic leadership, fundraising expertise, and overall management of the Museum’s mission, programs and operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational and financial management skills, experience in nonprofit or museum administration, and a passion for preserving and celebrating ski history.

The search follows the planned departure of current Executive Director Andrea Masters, who will step down after the New Year. Masters joined the Museum two years ago and has played a pivotal role in advancing operations, technology and revenue initiatives.

“Over the past year as executive director, I have given the Museum my full energy and heart, and it has been deeply rewarding to see the progress we have made together,” said Masters. “At the same time, I’ve realized I need to prioritize my health and find a better balance than this full-time role allows.”

Ben Wilcox, president of the Museum’s Board of Directors, expressed gratitude for Masters’ contributions.

“Andrea brought new focus and energy to the organization, helping to lay the groundwork for future growth and sustainability. We are deeply appreciative of her leadership and commitment.”

Masters will continue to support the Museum during the transition and may remain involved in a supporting role.

The New England Ski Museum is a member-supported 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the history of skiing and the 10th Mountain Division. Its mission is to collect, preserve, and exhibit equipment, art and artifacts of ski history for research, education, and inspiration.
