BELMONT — MetroCast Communications, the video, internet and phone provider serving 18 Lakes Region communities has introduced new, faster speeds for its residential High Speed Turbo and High Speed Ultra customers.
The upgrades push the Ultra speed up to 150 Mbps and the Turbo speed up to 50 Mbps. MetroCast Ultra and Turbo customers were upgraded to the new speeds last week.
MetroCast has increased its top Internet speed in each of the last five years, and has tripled it in the last three years. The 150 Mbps High Speed Ultra offering is almost 10x faster than the national average for downstream speeds.
