LACONIA — The Irwin Automotive Group is using multiple methods to give back this holiday season.Â
Volunteers will ring bells for The Salvation Army on Wednesday, Dec. 17 in downtown Laconia. Â
The bell represents the support The Salvation Army provides to families throughout the year, and the importance of giving back during the holiday season. The Red Kettle Campaign remains The Salvation Army’s largest annual fundraiser, powering essential programs nationwide.
For the 14th year, the group is holding its Coat, Hat and Glove Drive, collecting cold weather options. With the cost of living still rising in 2026, many households struggle to afford essential cold-weather gear for their children.Â
Community members can bring gently worn or new winter items to any Irwin Automotive Group location — including Irwin Toyota, Irwin Ford Lincoln, Irwin Hyundai and Irwin Chevrolet through December.
The group is also collecting new, unwrapped toys for Toys for Tots, which benefits underprivileged children across the Lakes Region.
