FRANKLIN — Franklin Savings Bank recently hired Chris Dickinson to the role of senior vice president, commercial loan officer within its commercial lending group. Dickinson will be based out of FSB’s main office in Franklin.Â
Dickinson comes to FSB with a master’s of business administration, a bachelor’s of arts in financial studies and a career in banking that spans over 25 years. Most recently, he held the position of senior vice president, chief commercial banking officer at Northway Bank in Laconia. Dickinson will focus on developing relationships with businesses throughout New Hampshire.Â
“Chris’ extensive experience in commercial lending, treasury management and sales growth strategies, is an excellent complement to FSB’s lending department,” said Jon Jones, senior vice president, senior loan officer. “His expertise, combined with his commitment to community involvement and dedication to excellence, makes him a great addition to our team. We are looking forward to working with him.” Â
Dickinson is dedicated to community development and volunteerism. He actively sits on local nonprofit boards that focus on affordable housing, economic development and civic engagement. Â
“I chose FSB because of its strong reputation as a locally owned, independent community bank headquartered in the heart of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region,” he said. “From my very first interaction with the team, it was clear they genuinely care about the financial well-being of individuals, families, businesses, and the communities they serve. From day one, I felt truly welcomed — like part of the family.”Â
Outside of work, Chris is a Lakes Region native. He grew up in Gilford and now lives in Meredith with his son and yellow lab. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, boating, hiking the White Mountains, skiing and snowboarding. Â
