Binnie Media names local station manager, head of area sales

LACONIA — Binnie Media announces that Faith Francis has accepted a position as station manager for 98.3 WLNH FM and 1490 WEMJ AM in Laconia and that Roberta Angel Barrett will now be the sales manager for all stations in the Concord-Lakes Region Market.

Massimo Rosati, Vice President and General Manager of Binnie Media's New Hampshire properties, said, "Faith has been a key player for Binnie Media since we acquired the stations. We are pleased to promote a community-involved, Lakes Region native to operate WLNH and WEMJ, two of our heritage stations. In less than a year, Roberta has done great work with our account executives; she brings tremendous leadership, enthusiasm and creativity that will now help our marketing partners in the Lakes Region. Roberta and Faith will make a great team."

Francis graduated from Alton High School and UNH and has lived in Gilford for the past six years. "Faith brings a full media experience with a work history in radio, television and running an advertising agency, with strong ties to the local community and a love for these two stations," Rosati said.

"Roberta Angel Barrett comes to us from Cumulus Media and iHeart Media in Connecticut where she has had over 18 years in broadcast media sales experience," said Rosati. Barrett currently is the sales manager of WJYY, WNHW and WNNH in Concord. She will be adding Binnie Media's Laconia market with stations WLNH and WEMJ to her responsibilities effective immediately.
