LACONIA — Belknap County Home recently partnered with Cura Hospitality to provide dining experience to skilled and long-term nursing care residents and patients, as well as prepare healthier dining options for staff.
Cura was selected for its patient-centered care services, while providing a respite and a healthier dining destination for staff and guests from the community.Â
“We’re thrilled with this partnership — collaborative, supportive, and truly tailored to our community’s needs,” Belknap Nursing Home Administrator Shelley Richardson. Â
After one week of service, the Cura dining team under the leadership of District Manager and Cura support operations Steven Mello created an authentic Oktoberfest for all county employees during employee appreciation day.
“Thank you for making our employee appreciation day a success. The Octoberfest-themed luncheon was excellent in both presentation and taste. Who would have known that you have been on the job here at Belknap County for only a week? To have pulled off such an important event for us with little planning time was no small feat and we very much appreciate it,” said Belknap County Administrator and HR Director Debra Shackett.
“The dining team’s openness to feedback and personalized approach is making a real difference for our residents,” said Belknap Director of Nursing Amanda Gallagher.Â
