Watch your popcorn doesn't float away; amazing scenes show humanity's highest cinema.

Following the highest ever cocktail party, barber shop and sushi restaurant, the crew of the International Space Station (ISS) have been seen settling in for a movie this week, 260 miles above Earth.

NASA astronaut Jonny Kim reported Thursday, Nov. 20: "We work hard on the Space Station, but we also like to relax together.

"Sometimes we do movie nights in space."

His pictures show the ISS cabin dimmed, a projector screen set up, and the crew seemingly able to make themselves comfortable in the microgravity conditions.

Previously, NASA astronaut Nichole Ayers was seen tidying up the locks of her fellow astronauts, while other events featured delicious canapés, including shrimp cocktails and fajitas.

An attempt at sushi drew funny comments from social media users at the time, including "That’s a very loose use of the word sushi" and a bruising review that read "3/10 on earth. 10/10 in space."
