CENTER HARBOR — Interlakes Community Caregivers is the Center Harbor Congregational Church mission of the month for November. The church invites the public to join in its work. As an incentive it will augment every contribution to Community Caregivers given through the church with up to a dollar for dollar match from the church's Matthes Mission Fund. This will increase the impact of every donation.

Community Caregivers is a volunteer organization serving people in Center Harbor, Moultonborough, Meredith and Sandwich with non-medical support services. These include local rides to medical and other appointments and for errands such as grocery, pharmacy and other shopping. Neighborly telephone checks and resource information and referral are also offered. Long distance rides are available for medical appointments.

Interlakes Community Caregivers receives no federal or state funding. It relies on private giving to continue the business of helping neighbors stay independent.

Community Caregivers was started in 1998 as a ministry of Center Harbor Congregational Church UCC. After several successful years it was spun off as an independent 501(c)3 organization. It continues as a mission of the church.

Donation checks may be made out to Center Harbor Congregational Church, P.O. Box 229, Center Harbor, NH 03226 with "CaregiversMOM" noted on the memo line. To learn about becoming a caregiver, contact Interlakes Community Caregivers directly.
