Harrisburg, Pa. — Skill game machines in bars, clubs, and shops across the state could stay safe from police seizure until February if four state lawmakers, primarily Sen. Gene Yaw, R-Lycoming, get their way.
Pennsylvania businesses that keep skill games terminals after Oct. 14 risk seizure of the machines and criminal charges, the attorney general said.
It’s been two months since the Pa. Supreme Court declared that Pa. skill games are legally classified as slot machines. Concerned businesses are urging state legislators to act before the deadline for removing terminals.
