Funny how liberals keep piling on the white guilt trip regarding slavery citing how white Europeans 200, 300, 400 years ago legally had slaves. Very true, but then so did every other race, culture or religion of those times while skipping the part about it was white European Christians that ended it. Well, except for some Middle Eastern or totalitarian countries like China.
How about moving back up into the 21st century, folks? Frankly, they must think everyone living today are idiots who should accept guilt for crimes committed by those long dead. Please name me even one Western nation where slavery is legal? How about one Western living person who owns or has owned a slave, or even a grandparent? They can't, but they can slander every living white person in the world today for what, to virtue signal or whatever?
Black slavery from Africa was ongoing for a thousand years before the first European slave ship ever ventured to Africa and the slave dealers were powerful black princes selling captives from weaker black tribes to the Arabs, Muslims and Byzantines.
Again, funny how uneducated on this subject those who claim to be the outraged morally spurious seem to be.

Wonder if Steve can point me to what was done to help former slaves become part of society and not start the cycle of generational poverty that continues to impact the black community at large.
