Shelley Carita: Mucci will stand against county craziness, support public education

I am excited about the prospect of Sandy Mucci being elected state representative for the town of Meredith. Sandy is one of those people whom you meet and just know that her heart is in the right place. She really cares.

As a member of the Belknap County Delegation, Sandy will have a seat at the table and be a voice for all of us at the Belknap County Commission meetings. We cannot have another two years of county craziness as we all witnessed with the Gunstock Mountain Resort. And we cannot continue to ignore the health care needs of our older, frail loved ones living at the county nursing home. Sandy is deeply concerned about this issue and won’t stand silent.

Sandy shares my belief that women and their physicians, not politicians, should be in control of their own bodies and have the right to choose what is best for them. She is also a champion for public education for our kids, and for making sure that all students receive the very best education possible. As Sandy says, “We cannot sustain our democracy without an educated population.” On Nov. 8, please be sure to vote for Sandy Mucci for state representative. Sandy really cares.
