To The Daily Sun,

As I said in a previous letter to the editor, Israel did not have a blockade on Gaza. The only truth in James Veverka’s letter on May 9 is that Israel supplied electricity and fuel to Gaza. They found fuel stockpiled in Hamas’ terror tunnels, obviously not shared with the Gazans.

I hope Israel won’t make that mistake again. The Gazans will have to work or get it from their own government. Gazans have been “paid to slay,” rewarded by their government for every Israeli they kill as are the families of their martyrs. Mothers are taught to raise their kids to be martyrs, can you envision that?

Gazans are the only population who were considered refugees after multiple generations and had their own “charity” supporting them. Israel helped them over the years in many ways and got murdered for their efforts. All the money and supplies (like concrete for building houses and infrastructure) went to produce tunnels under their cities to use as bunkers in which to store weapons and from which to attack Israel.

I only hope Israel learned its lesson and no longer will attempt to help or pacify people who want to see them destroyed (from the River to the Sea, aka all of Israel). It would be like having a jealous neighbor who you try to help and you get back violence because they want everything you’ve worked for. As far as the United Nations goes, they’ve been biased against Israel all along. I could tell you stories about what I have seen them do, but I am limited to 300 words.
