To The Daily Sun,

The choice we make at the ballot box next year is a big one; not just for the upcoming four years, but for the future of our nation.

Elizabeth Warren appeared at a town hall in Laconia this past week. She spoke with eloquence, expertise and determination. I am proud that Senator Warren will be my choice for President when I vote in the February primary.

Throughout her career, Senator Warren has shown that she will stand up for the little guy. As a bankruptcy expert, Elizabeth Warren has studied our economy and its inherent inequities. After the 2007-08 financial crisis, she helped with the passage of the 2010 Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act. In September 2010, Senator Warren was made a special assistant to the President and special advisor to the Secretary of the Treasury on the Consumer Protection Bureau to set up the new agency. The CFPB was established to help average citizens with banking and credit issues and protect them from avaricious corporations. The Bureau has returned over $12 billion to consumers.

As Senator, Elizabeth Warren has repeatedly tackled corruption in private industry and on Wall Street. Warren has shown she is prepared to be the champion we need in the White House. As President, I know Senator Warren will get in the ring to fight on behalf of people like me, whether taking on Wall Street greed, exploitative private industry or Washington pay-for-play.

Elizabeth Warren will tackle corruption wherever she sees it.
