Selina Edson: Gov. Ayotte should help to end government shutdown

To the Daily Sun,

Gov. Kelly Ayotte needs to come to her senses and help open up the government. This shutdown is really hurting us Americans. We Americans deserve better than what the Democrats are offering. We Americans are the ones who keep the United States going, and, yes, I stand by President Donald Trump and the Republicans. Gov. Ayotte needs to be the strong woman she says she is and help open up the government so us Americans don't suffer. It's not she or the Democrats that are getting screwed, it's us Americans getting screwed. The Democrats are all for themselves. We the people of the United States want this government open. This shutdown is ridiculous.

Joe Biden did nothing but make a mess of this country when he was in office, and President Trump is now digging us out of all that Biden got us into. Gov. Ayotte needs to do the right thing, and so should the Democrats. President Trump is the best thing that has happened to this country in a long time. Keep up the great work, President Trump, and the Republicans, too.
