To The Daily Sun,
The Tilton School has been lacking in understanding of the students who travel from out-of-state to attend their school. We are very disappointed that an out- of-state student can't safely pick up items that have been in dorms since spring break!. This has been strung out long enough and the school needs to do more to assist kids getting their things. These kids have been living with minimal items that were brought home for spring break and we've had to buy wardrobe online.
Tilton is not taking these inconveniences in consideration and lacks understanding of the circumstances. Allowing "in state" kids to be able to pick up their things but out-of-state resident students to not have the same opportunity is discriminatory at best and flagrantly inconsiderate at worst. We are willing to rent haz-mat suits if that's what is required in order for us to retrieve the items that were left. We have no control over kids picking things up from taking our child's items showing up to get them only to find things missing.
Tilton seems to favor the N.H. resident which will not serve as a great recruiting piece to gain out-of-state students. Wake up Tilton and let us gather our items.
