Who is in charge of our country? Seriously.
Does anybody care?
The first cabinet meeting in months just happened and the inestimable Dr. Jill Biden sat at the head of the table. I thought that Joe Biden was the president.
Many may have seen Biden fail at introducing Mr. Narendra Modi of India. It’s very clear that he is non compos mentis. So, if we were a law-abiding country, the sitting vice president, whats-her-name, would invoke the 25th Amendment and take his place.
Except that Vice President Kamala Harris is doing her best to distance herself from the policies of the Biden/Harris administration. She also seems to be pretending to be an outsider who isn’t actually the vice president.
She says that she has plans to fix this and that on day one after she is inaugurated.
Question: why isn’t she doing any of those things now?
I think that governor and democratic VP nominee Tim Walz put the issue succinctly.
“We can’t afford ... we can’t afford four more years of this.”
Correct.
Vote for Donald Trump in November.
