To The Daily Sun,
I hope that Ruth Larson (Nov. 12)) can look deep into her heart to forgive my comments on the votes in Michigan. She probably didn’t realize that when my letter was written (on Nov 3), that story was reported as accurate. (It wasn't corrected until the 4th). I’m sure that this letter won’t be published for a few days.
If we’re striving for accurate reporting, does anyone remember that Donald Trump stole the election, that Stacey Abrams was elected governor of Georgia, that Adam Schiff had bombshell evidence of Trump collusion with Russia, the Steele dossier, three years of boasting that the Trump administration was nearing its end, the continued misreporting of Trump’s comments after Charlotte, the blaming the Wuhan flu deaths directly on Trump? I’m running out of space on this.
I saw a T shirt at the Laconia Veterans’ Day observance that displayed the lie that Trump called veterans suckers and losers. I guess that the four anonymous people got trumped (sorry) by the 12 people (who gave their names) who refuted the story.
The leftists, progressives, democrats, and the media (excuse my repetition) don’t hesitate for 5 minutes to endlessly report the hint of a whisper of a potential link of anyone with an “R” after their name to anything that might be negative.
Yet, when we have any credible evidence or statement or sworn affidavit about something harmful to a someone of the Left, it’s buried or blocked or “fact checked” with weasel words like prefacing “voter fraud” with “widespread” or putting “mostly peaceful” before “demonstrations”. Hey “reporters”, how much fraud constitutes widespread and how much rioting is included in mostly peaceful?
What happened to the railroading of Michael Flynn, Tara Reade’s allegations, and the Harvey Weinstein story? What about Democratic governors thanking Trump for getting their states the needed resources, the emails on Hunter Biden’s laptop, or the inconsistencies of Democrats on COVID (e.g., come to Chinatown and hug an Asian, it’s safe—ride the subway, or banning flights from China was racist)? Unless Trump concedes, NO ONE is a president-elect until after December 14 (Al Gore took 37 days to concede), and NYT columnist Thomas Friedman’s comment that people move to Georgia, register to vote, and vote for the two Democrat senators (“Cuomo Prime Time” 11-10-20)? I know, dear Media, we can’t handle the truth. Thanks for “protecting” us.
I don’t remember who said: All voting irregularities aren’t fraud, but all fraud shows up as irregularities. Joe Biden may indeed be the 46th President. Wouldn’t all of us feel better if the legal challenges were followed to their conclusions validating the winner? I know that I would.
