The National Institutes of Health spent $2.3 million injecting 6-month-old puppies with cocaine.

Researchers at Georgia Tech got a grant to research whether or not Thanos could snap his fingers wearing the infinity gauntlet.

It took $118,971 to find out he couldn't snap his armored fingers.

$1.7 billion a year has been spent on maintaining 77,000 empty federal buildings.

Oversight.house.gov says, based on government documents, we estimate that $20 billion a year of taxpayer money is wasted on ineffective and inhumane tests on tens of millions of puppies, kittens, and other animals in the U.S. and in hundreds of foreign laboratories.

Newsnation.com says the congressional budget office recently found that Congress provided $516 billion in appropriations this fiscal year (2024) to programs that had expired under federal law.

The funds were associated with 500 expired authorizations according to the CBO's report.

Nearly two-thirds or $320 billion was provided for activities whose authorization expired more than a decade ago the report said.

For a small portion of that, we could solve homelessness in America.

Food insecurity could be staved off for tens of millions of poor families and students.
