R. Brian Hennessy: Vote for someone who knows our community

I am writing to wholeheartedly endorse Bobbi Boudman for New Hampshire state representative.


Boudman is a native New Englander who fell in love with the Lakes Region and settling in Wolfeboro in 2008, she chose to raise her family here and invest deeply in our community.
Bobbi’s professional life spans banking, a decade in the music industry as a financial leader, and later a master’s degree that led her into sports and recreation.
When she became a mother, Boudman channeled that same leadership into founding Babes in Backpacks and creating inclusive outdoor and educational opportunities for families.
She has worked and volunteered tirelessly — as an athletic director, arts administrator, watershed advocate, substitute teacher, costume designer, board member, and supporter of countless local nonprofits.

Her life story as the daughter and granddaughter of veterans, the first in her family to graduate college, and someone who experienced hardship, has shaped her empathy and resolve.
Bobbi understands what it means to step up for others and to serve with integrity, balance, and respect for community voices.

I also feel she is the most qualified to deal with the state’s fiscal crises and out-of-control property taxes.
By contrast, I am deeply concerned about her opponent, Dale Fincher, whose extremist ideology I believe would divide our towns rather than represent the broad interests of Ossipee, Tuftonboro, and Wolfeboro.


Bobbi Boudman will honor the oath of office and be a thoughtful, steady representative who truly puts our communities first.
