CANCEL Bike "Week!" I am in total agreement with others who have voiced their outrage at the Laconia Council re: holding Bike "Week" this year. Many other event of much smaller size have been cancelled by responsible people (example: the Sandwich Fair")
Holding an event that hosts thousands of people over a 9-day period this year is nothing short of deadly. Listen to the scientists — large groups of people gathering for extended periods of time is the recipe for disaster. Protect our health care and essential workers and CANCEL BIKE WEEK.
