To The Daily Sun,

When I grew up, if someone broke the law, they were arrested and then tried in a court of law. I remember when this was standard operating procedure all across America.

Back then (as now) there were a few bad apples in law enforcement. This is not an indictment of officers. It is, however, an indictment on human beings. Recognizing this, even enforcement officials were open to arrest and trial for unlawful behavior. In addition, when federal laws were broken, the FBI worked with and welcomed input from local law enforcement.

Today, this is apparently “out of vogue” — i.e., unlawful. If someone breaks a law or interferes with law enforcement, they can be — and demonstrably are — shot and murdered. So far, there are two instances of this (and counting). Multiple videos demonstrate the individuals were murdered without cause. No explanation required ...

To my great consternation and sadness, we don’t hear a peep about this from a large segment of the population.

Wake up. Our unique American inheritance is under siege from every angle.
