To The Daily Sun,
I am disappointed that I must opt out of choosing which company I prefer to deliver electricity to my home in Laconia. Should it not be the other way and individuals opt in to a group? These same tactics were used in Massachusetts a few years back and many of my neighbors regretted the switch as the “group rates” disappeared after the initial contract expired. This contract was signed off by the past city council.
I would like to hear if the current council and mayor agree with this decision.
