Kimberly Ploszaj: Tom Ploszaj represents Center Harbor and New Hampton

I wanted to submit some additional thoughts about my father, Tom Ploszaj, running for his fourth term as the Republican candidate for state representative in Center Harbor and New Hampton. My father has been criticized by a few of the online groups that want to say he's a Free Stater and a libertarian.

If folks take a few minutes to speak with my father, here is what readers will learn:

1. He wants to represent the residents of Center Harbor and New Hampton to the best of his capacity. He needs to hear from residents to know what is important to them, how they'd suggest he represents their interests in Concord, etc.
2. Although he was not raised in New Hampshire, retiring to NH was a choice. He chose NH due to his ideologies aligning very closely with the community he resides in: working hard in life, the importance of education, the environment, preservation of family values, etc.
3. He's a lifelong volunteer. He's not someone who just says "let's do it," he's the epitome of a doer. He's been volunteering since he was a teenager and has instilled these values on dozens. My father has taken the lead on roles that many others would never think to step up to
4. Party lines do not matter, people matter

He wants to represent voters best moving forward in 2026-28 as an elected fourth term state representative.

Bipartisanship matters and that involves respect and fair behavior. Over the weekend, several candidates had their signs removed, taken and/or disposed of, without permission. This is not appropriate behavior of either party, candidates or those people supporting candidates. Please be respectful.
