Kenneth Bowers: Sen. Maggie Hassan should not be reelected to Senate

Sen. Maggie Hassan congratulated Dr. Anthony Fauci at a recent Congressional Hearing chaired by senator and doctor Rand Paul regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. Dr. Fauci became rich and famous beyond imagination while more than one million Americans, many of them elderly, died. Sen. Hassan makes accolades for a person who failed to provide guidance during a crucial period in history. Businesses were lost and people died alone while Dr. Fauci was more interested in his future fame. Sen. Hassan refused to ask Dr. Fauci even one question at the hearing on behalf of the voters of New Hampshire. Sen. Hassan had the opportunity to ask why there was no clear direction advocated by the CDC. People were left to avoid their loved ones and children, who are very resilient to viruses, were told to stay home for months.

Mixed messages were cruel and unnecessary. Sen. Hassan was not interested as to why and for this reason, she should never be reelected to the senate.
